President's Message

The National Capitol Chapter of AIIM is your AIIM Chapter in Washington, DC and the mid-Atlantic region. We are working hard to bring exciting, information packed events to our membership in the new program year starting in September 2014. We currently have confirmed speakers from NARA, FEMA, PBGC, and OpenText. Speakers from Forrester Research and C2 Labs. are invited.

Last year we delivered live presentations at our nine (9) monthly meetings with speakers from OPM, AOUSA, US DOT, PBGC, US Army, AIIM, techead, IMC, Salient Federal Solutions, Kofax, and NASS/USDA. On top of all of these events, we also delivered Advanced Certified Information Professional (CIP) training that received rave reviews from attendees. It was also great seeing the Nationals win at the June Social which was held at Nationals Park.

We would not have been able to produce these great chapter events without commitments from our membership in attending these events as well as the financial support of our chapter sponsors. Thank you to our chapter sponsors:

•IMC (Platinum)
•OpenText Corporation (Platinum)
•Iron Mountain (Platinum)
•Zimmerman Associates (Platinum)
•IQ Business Group (Gold)

Your continued support this year is greatly appreciated by all NCC Chapter members.

Our NCC Board of directors is made up entirely of volunteers, ready to assist our members any way we can. We very much appreciate the commitment to AIIM Leadership and their employers who support the professional volunteer efforts.

Many thanks for Salient Federal Solutions, IQ Business Group, NetSmith, Office of Joint Chiefs, DOD, ECOMPEX, Offutt Advisory Services, The Linden Group, OpenText, and all of the rest the organizations that support the NCC with people and funding.

This year we will continue adding new programs and offer Advanced Certified Information Professional training as well as improved outreach and communications to better serve our members.

Sincerely,
Dave
